Udy Family

Meet the Udy family. They are a VERY active family. The love sports and the western lifestyle. I also just want to point out how stylish they are, on top of being a cool family. Momma Udy said she wanted something other than green fields and mountains, and she sent me a picture of a family by a concrete wall that she liked, so I found a wall just like the one she sent me. I did Whitney's maternity session a few weeks ago, and she said she wanted to get family photos before her brother left on his mission, but that it was going to be right around when she was supposed to have her baby. So, we had to strategically plan this session so that it was after Whitney had her baby, but before Woody left on his mission. The session landed one week after Baby Rin arrived, and one week before Woody, or should I say Elder Udy, left for the MTC. He's been out for one week today. Yay! Its so exciting to see young men and women leave to serve the Lord, but this summer I have seen the other-side of the excitement. I have seen the other-side in the conversations with moms and siblings who are so proud and happy of their loved one who is serving, but a few of them have said its the hardest thing they have had to do. Its a sacrifice for the Elder or Sister, but its also a sacrifice on so many levels for their families as well.  BUT....

Lets not forget that with sacrifice comes great blessings.
